Asus problem with battery

Hello,is less than a year i have bought my asus notebook and now in order to star my windows i should take the battery off and put it bake again whats the solution

is the battery still working or does it die within 10 minutes of laptop being on battery power? so either you battery is close to dead or you got a malfunctioning battery which should have presented these symptoms upon purchase.
