Any cons of having computer sleep?

hi. is there anything bad about having your computer sleep often? i have it set to sleep when idle for 15 mins so it sleeps and wakes alot. Can there be anything negative from too much sleep?

Only thing I can think of is that sometimes they don't wake up.

Occasionally the sleep process will hang an app and that necessitates a reboot. It used to happen *allot* with Vista. These days it’s not so bad.

is that due to hardware malfunction caused by sleep?

Putting computer to sleep produces heat which affects the atmosphere and thus invite a cause for GLOBAL WARMING!
Do not let it sleep too much. SHUT IT DOWN and save electricity

Please don't take that seriously. It’s almost always software hanging. I haven’t encountered a hardware sleep issue. Others might have.
