How to correct volume on sony notebook

hi we have a new sony notebook,the volum has been lost,does anyone know why and how to correct this,all volums are up and working,chrs

do you have an owners manual for it? if yes, check where the mute button is

if not, type your model toghether with words user manual and you should be able to find something that would point you to where the mute button is.

if that's not the case, make sure in audio settings you have the correct device selected (your sound card) and not something different.
