I am considering upgrading my OS from Me to XP. When I
run the compatibility test it says that some
software/drivers will need updating. One of these is BCM
HPNA 10Mbps NIC which I believe is for the cable modem. I
would probably need this driver before I start the install
so that I would be able to access the internet and
download any additional updates/drivers. I would burn
this to a CD to be used during install. My problem is I
can't find this driver anywhere. I have a Gateway
Performance 1000 with 512 Ram and 20 hard drive with about
65% free space. Any suggestions. I can't even find the
driver on the manufactures website.

This newsgroup supports Microsoft's Broadband Networking hardware and

through the information, and then check with the various manufacturer web
sites mentioned.
