Hi,

I¹ll be receiving shortly a new Tungsten C, to replace my dying Clie.
What I¹m wondering is, what¹s the safest way to do the first hotsync of
the new PDA? If I just sync to Missing Sync on my Mac, it¹ll restore
everything that was on the Clie, including stuff that¹s redundant (such
as Jot) or perhaps even incompatible (like Clie Paint or the Clie
version of Zap 2016, or some obscure system prefs file that will crash
the Tungsten). How do I do this?

Also, I sync to 2 machines, my Mac at home and the PC at work. I have
Backup Buddy and the latest version of Chapura Pocket Mirror installed
at work. Am I better off somehow doing the first hotsync there? And
doesn't the Sony software install store its files in different places
than the default Palm install?

Thanks for any advice!

Take care,

Steve
