I just finished buliding my new machine!!

I have Epox 8KHA+ mobo and it has onboard AC 97 Audio. I have a PCI SoundBlaster 128. I didn't notice much difference between them. Anyone know which one's better?

PCI 128 is better.
Ensoniq PCI 128 sucks, but the Creative with a slightly different chip is decent.

Independant thought is good.
It won't hurt for long.

Both sound chips are 4 channels capable, both are 128 voices, both are 16bits and both gives reatively good sounds(and bty SB cards uses AC'97 codec)...it really is up to you and what your listening at (games,mp3,DIVX or if your playing sound edition software).
Try one then the other and decide by yourself.

Sorry for my spelling I'm french...hey I ain't perfect!

That's what I would have suggested too, but if as varlo suggests the SB card uses the AC'97 codec anyway, then it won't really offload CPU usage.
