I think it would depend on your definition of simultaneous. As a
signal it would seem to require ack/nack so it would only be able to
connect to one other discrete device at a time, but it would also seem
like it could do the discrete connections so fast as to appear
simultaneous. Your PC NIC only connects to one other device at a time,
but since it does it so fast, it doesn't make any practical
difference.
As another data point, the T3 supports blue chat which uses 4 or 6
different devices, but I'm sure at the communication level, it's only
making one connection at a time.

No, this is not possible. I wanted to be able to use a
Bluetooth headset (Motorola HS-820) with my T3, and also use Bluetooth to
my laptop, so I could use ppp from there outbound... not possible,
apparently.
Also not possible to have a Bluetooth headset attached to my
Nokia 3650 mobile and use the T3 to dial the Nokia over Bluetooth.
It supports one connection pair at a time, period. Its a known Palm
limit. Future devices (hopefully) will correct this minor "mistake".

You're correct about not being able to have multiple connections
simultaneously although this is not specific to Palm. The issue with the
phone is a phone problem not a Palm problem. I am able to use my T3 to dial
my Sony-Ericsson T68i which is paired with a Plantronics BT headset. My
understanding of why this doesn't work with some phones is that the phone
doesn't drop the BT connection to the T3 quickly enough to permit the
connection to the headset to activate. Just so you know it doesn't work with
my Motorola V551 either. It's really not a Palm 'mistake'.

[ I got an answer in the Palm One forum, but I'll quote it back here as
I think many developers find open, searchable, public newsgroups much
handier than private forums locked away behind a regularly-crashed jsp
page ].
Apparently:
In the Bluetooth samples in the Palmsource SDK is one called
BtPiconet that uses multiple connections.
Only the low-level APIs allow multiple connections, RFCOMM is
constrained to 1:1 connections.
I have not checked the above, but have no reason to doubt its veracity.
