Ok..I'm sitting here with my choice of to AV programs; PC-cillin and Norton.
I used Norton on my other system and only had one worm sneak thru in almost three years...ZoneAlarm caught it trying to connect and I was able to rid myself of the nasty lil bugger with system restore.
However, what about this PC-cillin? Pros/Cons?...Love it? Hate it? Don't care?..he he..
Well if you've found Norton good in the past, stick with it! That's the thing about software, you can never be sure it's going to work properly until you actually use it. So, a big 'con' for PC-cillin is that you haven't got confirmation that it's happy on your system, no matter how good it actually is.
AVG is worth a go though; I've used that for years, seems to work OK.
I installed the PC-cillin just to see what it's like...new comp and new OS, so as of right now I don't have much to lose if things go haywire. The software came with the mobo so I reckon I'll use it for the trial period and see how it goes.
