If you guys remember about a month ago when I posted about my next minor upgrade. Well, unfortunately, it didn't go 100% as planned. As one of my inkjets and my scanners failed, I had to go out and get a new printer and scanner, a Canon S600 and a Canon N1240U. Anyway, I had just enough money left over for a Radeon 8500 but not RAID. Now, in four or five more months I plans to spend another ~$300 CDN on another minor upgrade and right now, I'm not sure which I should do:
1.) Get an IWill XP333-R + 256MB PC2700 (that's a little over $300CDN but still in my range, and I'll upgrade to 512MB after that ASAP)
2.) Get a SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum (I had wanted a remote for my PC but I couldn't afford an AIW Radeon 8500DV due to the sudden breakdown of my printer and scanner)
3.) Get a Promise RAID card + another 40GB Western Digital 7200RPM Hard drive
Which should I do? I'll probably be doing all these upgrades in the long run but which should I do first?
By the way, is the remote for the Audigy Platinum programmable? Can I make it open specific applications? I realize the Audigy's remote is no where near the sophistication of the AIW R8500DV's remote, but at least it's an alternative.

id say get the IWILL w/ the ram.
i've read threads where you've promoted that motherboard and i cant help assume that you want one too.
as for the sound card....sound is sound....its a little difficult to distinguish the quality of sound. if you have at least a sound blaster live!...then the sound card can wait (unless you're into sounding editing and so forth).
im not very knowledgable in promise-RAID so i cant give you an opinion on that.
i think the IWILL motherboard will give you the best performance boost of the three...the other two options can wait if you want a performance gain now.

Yes, I like the specs and features of the board and I want one myself.

I currently have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. I don't want to upgrade for the sound quality, I want the remote! hehe!
