I would like to use 2 x 1Ghz Tualatin celerons in a dual proc. Gigabyte mainboard (ga-6vtxdr-c). Officialy, Celerons cannot do SMP. I know from former versions that there are some tricks. Maybe someone knows if and how it is possible to accomplish.

Officially and really you cannot run recent celerons (tualatin or otherwise) in SMP. There is no way around this without some very high quality silicon, a couple of billion dollar fab plant and some really smart engineers.

Of course, you could just keep asking us again until it becomes true. Why do you keep asking (exactly the same question cut & pasted) if you don't believe us?

The OLD Mendicino Celeron would run SMP with tricks. They ended at 533MHz. If you want to use something that slow, be my guest!

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
