Intel P4 laptop?

This from Electronic News Jan.21 2002, vol.48 no4:

"A tawainese pc manufacturer dropped a P4 processor into a prototype laptop to see if it would work. Well, it did - sort of. It reached a searing 158 F (70 C), which is enough to slow cook an egg, and the battery lasted a whopping 45 minutes. It seems the P4 wont be the choice of the road warriors for the immediate future."

45 mins. oh boy. I Hope they get better tech on that one. 2 three hours woudl be great. And the heat 70c that can hurt on a lap?
