Overclocking... help

Ok, i'm pretty new to new computers (my days were 486's and P75's) so all this FSB stuff is double-dutch to me. But basically, i'd like to overclock my computer a bit. I'm running an Athlon 1.13 with a Jetway 867 board with KT266A chipset, there are no jumpers or magical switches on the board, but the BIOS has different settings. I know the basics (how to overclock) but, are there any safety issues with the chip, i obviously don't want to burn it out, but lets rule out cooling as a problem. This will be easy for me to overcome, but what are the limits of the board/chip? e.g: how can i get the maximum mhz out of it without having the chip fall over itself because it's too fast??

anyone help thanks.
