Im fed up with these stupid CPU's. i got the idea of buying a Server MObo,and (2) Intel Xenon 2.4 CPus.The total power would be 4.8 right? Is this a good config?

PS what kinda power supply and type of ram would i need?

No, the processing power would not be 4.8Ghz. You need applications that can split up tasks for multiple processors (called parallel processing) but there are many problems for which this simply cannot be done and many programs just aren't made to use mult procs. Games for instance will not gave u any increase. What kind of work will u be doing with the comp?

Hilbert space is a big place.
