Problem with windows Update

Hi Community,

For about the last month, my computer has been having issues regarding Windows Update. It is not recieving any.

I am connected to the internet (by cable), but each time i click on "Check for Updates", it gives:

An error occured while checking for new updates to your computer.

Error(s) found:
Code 80070422

Windows Update encountered an unexpected error.

I am out of ideas about what to do .
