Remove the HSF and lick the die for an accurate temp reading

I know Asus Probe tends to give a reading 10 degrees higher than what you get from monitoring the temp in the bios. I've heard you should trust what you get when monitoring in bios.

They all use different ways to measure the temp, or have different ways of 'telling' it to the motherboard monitoring software.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground  .

Motherboard Monitor gives me the same temps I get in the BIOS, so I assume the temps are as accurate as you can get with my MOBO. Whether or not the temps the chipset is reporting are really accurate is another story...

i have an ASUS board and i find that the BIOS temps are the same as the PC-Probe temps... to a degree or two.
