Dell vs asus

i am looking for a new laptop and i found these 2:

ASUS:model Asus X53SV-EX773V,
i5 2410,4 gb ram (max 8),GT 450M 2GB,500 GB HDD,NO USB 3.0,1 YEAR COLLECT AND RETURN QUARANTEE,PRICE 589EURO

DELL:model Inspiron Q15R (N5110),i5 2410,4 GB ram(max 6),GT 525M 1GB,500 GB HDD,USB 3.0,2 YEAR 2 Έτη Next Business Day On Site Service,PRICE 658EURO

which one you would choose between these 2 and why?Thank you for your time.

well, first thing I have to say, there's no such thing as GT450M. Even nVidia website doesn't have it listed, so I will guess it's a GT445M.

hardware-wise:
Asus is better, if it is really a GT445M, then it's better than GT525M by about 40%.

The only reason dell is more expensive is I think because of longer warranty.

If you like the finish/case features of one laptop more than the other, then of course that would be reason for consideration, but purely by specs, Asus is better.

Sorry My mistake the asus has GT 540M 2GB GPU.
even with 540M is the asus better choice then the dell?

yes, 540 is still better than 525 by about 10-20%
