I am trying to map a windows 98 machine to a cd drive on another machine running windows XP pro. I can successfully map to any of the hard drive partitions but not the cd drive.

When I try to map the drive it comes back with a "Not enough storage space to process this command" error.

The same windows98 machine can successfully map to cd's on machines running Windows 98, OS/2, Win 2k, Win Nt.

Any ideas?

Probably on the XP comp, it has security feature that disable sharing CD-ROM to another comp. If you have access and admininistrator permission on that comp, you can change it.
On XP comp, Right-click on CD-ROM and choose Properties, then Sharing. Click on share this folder.

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

Yep that was it. The solution was so obvious that I hadn't even bothered to check to see if sharing was enabled. I just assumed that I had done it.

Thanks for you help.
