What is your operating system?
The wireless card is very old. You can try updating the drivers....

But, it will most likely be hardware limits. You could try upgrading it to a more recent card. But your outdated computer would create a problem.
Also, you could get a card like this, it will connect thru a USB port, it will act as an external wireless card, it could save you some time, and money.
