hey guys i'm having troubles with DVD burning and whatnot again.

I can do it now, but there is a problem. The videos take up WAY too much space on the DVD's. A one hour standard DIVX clip takes up 3 GB of the DVD's space, which should not be. I can't figure out how to change it. any help would be appreciated.

I didn't make the divx files. they're 700MB (for 1.1 hours of video).

We will have to set a flat rate for charges if he keeps this up.

Say $60.00 a call and an additional $30.00 every half hour after that.

Interesting that we should charge a person that contracted us out for every extra half hour we were unable as a group to help them.

Company's seem to think that charging a patron for their lack of skills is ok......

On the up side all those poor people in NO wont have to pay any taxes this year for jobs they don't have or homes they never owned or will own. My goodness the governments just so awesome.

I think I just wet myself and I have developed a tremor in my right nipple.

CNN is another beef right now!! What if I don't want to be held hostage in the SITUATION ROOM with Wolf Blitzer ?
They should scam a separate channel for Wolf and the SITUATION room or just elect him as the next president!!

Make a DVD ISO image of the too big result of the DivX conversion then use DVD Shrink to make it fit on a DVD and burn it.

I do that some time, when I cannot have my video correctly to fit on a dvd. The iso image can be bigger on the HDD than the DVD storage space

I was going to suggest what Pat had suggested, DVD-Shrink rules for automatic bitrate changes.
