I was wondering if there was going to be a firm ware
upgrade to 108 mega bits for the xbox wireless adapter
and the microsoft router.

It isn't possible with firmware. It would take a chip change, and since
Microsoft pulled out of the wireless hardware sector, I seriously doubt
you'll see an update from them. I'd look to other manufacturers, like this
little gem: http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=0&pid=383 I think it is a
bit pricey, but it does want you'd want. Remember, you need both ends of
the equation to go 108 Mbps.
