After installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2013, i restarted my machine and windows failed to start up with Error: Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might have caused the issue after you install Windows Updates. A system restore solves the issue of the start up but my computer is now without an anti virus. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the antivirus but got the same problem again. How do i go about installing an anti virus without any start up problems?

Since I use the internet very frequently, i would rather have the full package. I dont mind paying but is there a guarantee that i will not have the same issue with norton?i am assuming the issue is to do with the computer rather than the antivirus.
