The chipset support 2 XEON PCI-X and the big thing a dual DDR channel (DDR 1600).

So it will be Pc800 vs DDR1600*2 and pc1056 vs DDR 2100*2

The chipset it suppost to be annouce at the IDF.For plumas533 it will be release in Q2 with P4/XEON with 533 FSB


The debat RAMBUS VS DDR will be flaming hard again.Rambus have two weapon left 32 bit module and Quad channel RDRAM.With or without the support of intel there still be RDRAM base systeme with SIS638.

I have read that Rambus will show a demo of RDRAM module at 32 bit.

A bandwith of 6.4GB/S for 800mgz RIMM module and 8.4 GB/S for 1056 mghz RIMM.
