I am using the newest verion of Netscape, 7.01. Once in a while Netscape will just "lose" some of my settings. It will lose any browser settings I have modified, but not my bookmarks. It will totally lose all my e-mail settings and I have to set up all the IMAP settings again. This is a pain as I have lost a valuable e-mail this way.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am running WinXP Pro.

Well I don't use Netscape but I do use mozilla and I've had a similar problem, in mozilla its caused when the prefs script becomes corrupt, so it's probably the same in Netscape, have a look <A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/software/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=31576#31576" target="_new">here</A> this i what I did to fix the problem in mozilla
