Reset acer laptop factory settings windows 7 without cd

i have a acer laptop 5349-2418 someone used it and changed the log in to windowns password and username how can i get this reset .
i do not have a recovery cd

Sure you mean well, but getting round passwords is against Forum rules, especially if you may be assisting someone with a stolen laptop...

You guys seem a bit paranoid. If he stole the laptop then I'm sure he'd be able to do a simple google search. Don't discuss other things, OP is just simply asking how to "format" his laptop
