I'm waiting for my new AW computer to arrive with the NVIDIA 5600 in it. I now have to option of changing to the ATI but not sure if worth the risk of delying it longer than it already has. should I switch to the ATI or wait for a new card?

When are new cards coming out? I hear about a new chip to be named 5700 to phase out the 5600, will that go mobile too?

I'm a Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Student, not English, nor will I ever claim to be.

the geforce fx is a crappy mobile card, if the ati card you can upgrade to is the 9600 go for it, it's MUCH faster. I have heard nothing about any fx5700 for mobiles get the ati 9600 if you can.

absolutely, delay your order if you have to, don't get the 5600, and definitely don't get the 5700 - it still wont be better than the 9600.
