Hi, am doing a report for school about cpu's. Does anyone know any websites talking about how cpu's are design with detailed information on how they look, and also what makes them work. Thanks

That is a great site, but how do I view the .pdf files? It says that they are not available at the public site. So how can we get access to a private site? Or is this possible?

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader. That's not the problem. Have you gone to that link and actually tried to open the .pdf files? You'll see what I mean.

Hm, this is kind of annoying. How does one get access to this site? Alot of these docs look interesting.

I e-mailed the site and got this reply:

"There are various reasons for why the documents can not be downloaded from
the sandpile.org website. Some of them are:

- disk space constrains
- traffic limitations
- vendor copyrights

However, most of the documents are available from the vendor websites."

Seems pointless to have links and not be able to get to them.
