  1. A couple of options around your price range:

HP Envy 14: relatively low powered graphics card (well, lowest of the bunch i'm going to suggest... but in all honesty, is good for most games on medium) with decently good battery life.

Alienware Mx14: relatively high powered graphics card, but is kinda heavy

Asus G73/53: The various version of the G73 may or may not be above your price range, but they are quite nice (a friend has one, and he loves it :D ... cept he complains about the heat sometimes, heh), with a 17" screen, and good graphics cards (specifically which graphics card it has depends on the version). The G53 may be a suitable replacement, with a smaller screen. I've never used one IRL, so I really can't say too much about it.
  2. This is better, the G74 is out, why get a G73...

1200 Dollars. 560m... All the good stuff :)

HP Envy 14: Not a gaming machine.. Overheating issues like the 13,15,17 inch models.
Alienware M14x: good choice... But a G53, or G74 would be better.
  3. Very nice! thanks alot,
The G74 seems pretty good, this might very well be my choice!
  4. Yeah I saw the G74 as well, but not for around 1200 on any of the Canadian sites i went to. But sure, if you can get it for the right price, go for it.
