Pc 800 have a 1.6 GB
Pc 1200 have a 2.4 GB

Pc 1200 32 bit have 4.8 GB

Quad channel P1200 32 bit have 19.2 GB/SEC

I wonder if this is all true because

Holy crap, that's a long thread. That's the one disadvantage of their type of forums, once a thread gets that long, it's almost impossible to read.

Very, very interesting information about the Hammer. Too bad I have no idea how reliable this guy is.

What? You want reliable information in a forum? Next you'll want a 100% stable windows system and a universal monitary system.

My point is, I don't know anything about the person posting that. If Crashman posted that he had just overclocked a P3 800 to 1.6, I'd have a tendancy to think he was telling the truth (as opposed to someone I don't know).

Oh, I do understand. The problem with forums like this, is that it lets people make anonamous claims and they don't always have to back them up. It's interesting some of the discussion some of the wilder claims bring up too.

My only thought on a quad chanel memory configuration, is that you'd need 4 mem chips for your system, which means that if they can't get 8 on a board, you have to upgrade them all to do a memory upgrade, and baseline prices for systems will grow due to increased initial hardware demands. Of course, I might have the wrong Idea of what they mean by a quad channel.

Yes, I agree. Most people know to ignore baseless claims, there are just a few n00bs that get suckered in

No, that's what is meant by quad-channel, unless there are changes made to the RIMMs (dual-channel on one RIMM, sort of like RAID), however I don't even know if that's possible. Just a thought.
Needing 4 RIMMs would suck, but if I can get ~20GB/s of system memory bandwidth, it'd be worth it
