Hey,
I'm looking at putting in one of those phoneline home networks. But I'm not sure which brand is the best? I've been looking at Linksys, 3com and intel, but there a few others. Has anyone tried out one of these networks or heard which brand might be better? Thanks.

I have a little Links 10/100 hub and 2 Acer nics. Win98/Win95. The lan works find. Apparently the make of nic cards and perhaps even hubs is'nt that important.

Are we really ready for "contact" ?

ive not used one of those kits, but i took the 2 unused pairs and ran the network through that, it works good, up to the speed i would expect, no interference with the dsl or voice chanel.

i went to the tomshardware forums and all i got was this lousy signature.
