I'm assuming your budget is American Dollars.

Nope, as stated in Question #13... he is Canadian.
  3. Here's a list of laptop @ Newegg.ca with 1920x1080 resolution.

The ASUS N53 Series N53SN-XV1 is going for $899 and it comes with a nVidia GT 550M which is a pretty good video card for that price. It comes with a Core i5 CPU.

The ASUS G Series G53JW-XN1 would be a better choice for $1078 since it comes with the nVidia GTX 460M and is a bit more powerful than the GT 550M. It also comes with a quad core Core i7 CPU, but the downside is that it is 1.7GHz vs. the 2.3GHz Core i5.

This last option hits your budget, the ASUS G Series G53SW-XN1 for $1200. It has the same nVidia GTX 460M video card, but the Core i7 CPU is clocked at 2.0GHz. Plus you get 2GB more RAM; 6GB total.

    Good luck with your search...
