I just signed up for cable internet service and need to get a modem. I will
be connecting a new laptop with "G" capability. I want to do it wirelessly.
Is it best to get an all in one unit or get a cable modem and a wireless
router? Which is the best for home use with the greatest range?

Thanks so much

Check with your cable service to see which one they recommend. This isn't a
subject for this newsgroup, which supports Microsoft's Broadband Networking
hardware and software only.
