Cant locate theDell Inspiron 2600 Wireless card

please help me find where to replace the wireless card at?

    i'M ASKING WHERE IT IS LOCATED...I have watched several videos on how to install one,but I can't find it's location on this computer...
  3. Wow, it seems your Dell Inspiron 2600 is even older than my IBM ThinkPad T40 from 2003.

    Your Dell does not come with an integrated wireless adapter (at least according to the reviews). Therefore, if it currently has a wireless card then it must have been installed into the PC card slot. The PC card slot is on the left side of the Dell Inspiron 2600 between the floppy drive and the network connector.




    Apparently you do not have the manual, otherwise you could have easily found the answer. You can view and print the manual online at the following link:

    thank you! no it does not currently have a wireless card,I purchased one from amazon for it,so I thought I could install it...guess I'll have to send it back. thanks again!
  5. It seems that Dell uses a PC Card Type I/II slot so you need to buy a wireless adapter that is compatible with that format.
