Green 1700+

I've just purchased a 1700+ AMD xp and it is has a green color for the packaging, which differs from all the pictures of actual xps that I've seen on the internet (which have all been brown). I'm wondering why AMD switched the color of the packaging.

I think AMD wanted to slowly goto a green package. Lucky you have a Green XP you should be happy.

If it boots then it works, simple enough ?

I agree with that, I'm just too much of an engineer and wondering if this was just an aesthetic thing or performance based.

I think it's just for looks. Green is AMD's color, after all.
