For those that missed it, the successor to WindowsXP is:

Nothing until 2003, eh? No big deal, I'm very happy with XP. Just interesting that they're lengthening the cycle again. It was three years from 3.1 to 95, three from 95 to 98, three from 98 to 2000, then single years (or less) for ME and XP. Oh well, Bill is concentrating more on the intarweb now, I guess.
