I purchased some months ago a 9100 for work. I use it in part with a GPS
antenna to find customer sites. Only problem is that I had to run it off
the battery. Those don't last long. I purchased two separate DC to AC
inverters to work off the truck's power outlet and they didn't work. I had
given up on this idea after talking to Dell and finding out that they don't
offer such a converter for the 9100 with no plans to.

But yesterday I discovered an inverter that does work, at Radio Shack of all
places. It is the 22-146 and is on sale right now.

So if there is anyone else out there with the same problem check out:

300-Watt
Dual-Outlet
Power Inverter
Model Number 22-146

BTW, I do need a reliable USB to parallel cable. I had one but it failed
after a day. Can anyone suggest a model and where can I find it??
