Nature of H-IPS (green to pink on screen)?

I recently purchased a HP LP2475W.

When viewing a completely white screen, the lower left corner is greenish and the top right is pinkish. The color variation blends from one corner to the other such that there is essentially a neutral diagonal line from top left to bottom right.

The variation seems uniform enough and the diagonal in nearly corner to corner; so, I was wondering if this is not in fact a defect but an expected occurrence with a H-IPS panel.

Anyone know?

Can you post a picture?

H-IPS panels should not display such characteristics. At least my NEC LCD2690WUXi does not. The 2690WUXi does show a slight reddish color an angle on a black background, but that is due to the A-TW polarizer which helps reduce white glows when looking at it from an angle.
