mark my words (or numbers): 2160 mhz for the first release of Hammer for desktop (3400+ performance rating)

so they are having some different rating system with a new baseline performance? because 2160 is just about XP2750 rating, not 3400.

Remember... I have never seen anything official from AMD saying 3400+ was their first chip. That number was thrown out and most people ran with it.
Second, 2.16 sounds reasonable. I have no proof or foreknowledge that 2.16 is gonna be the number. But based
on what I have seen, that sounds about right.

Benchmarks are like sex, everybody loves doing it, everybody thinks they are good at it.
