Uverse for computer with TV Tuner

I attached a cable from the 2-Wire modem furnished with my u-Verse Computer connection but the only response I get is "No Signal".
When the Windows Media Center comes up and I click on Live TV and I can change stations but in every case only snow is on the screen and a message "no Signal'.

That is because uVerse uses IPTV-based technology and your tuner expects to receive a "regular" cable signal. Different technologies.
