Hi guys i have been searching over the internet to buy a new laptop, and i dont care how powerful it is because i'm not planning to play any games with it only do homework stuff.. so the only thing i want is a laptop that is good enough to live minimum 5 hours.
All the laptops i have found has either 4 cell or 6 cell and says that the battery live up to 10 hours.
Can it really last to up 10 hours?

The rated laptop battery life is usually higher than the actual battery life. Which laptop have you seen that is rated at 10 hours?

As an example, the 12.5" ThinkPad X220 (starting price $849) is rated at up to 15 hours, but based on a battery life test by Notebookreview.com, the laptop managed to last 8 hours and 47 minutes.

http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=6056&p=4

Our standard battery life test sets the screen to 70% brightness, wireless active and continuously refreshing a website on a 60-second interval, and Windows 7 set to the "balanced" power profile.

Generally speaking, most people do not refresh or visit a web page every 60 seconds and since you will most likely be using the laptop in class to take notes or in your dorm/library to do assignments, you should be able to easily get more than what Notebookreview.com got in their test.

The thing is that i don't live in the US, i live in Sweden so it might be different between the prices and which laptops there is in Sweden and US.
But those i've found are this:

Asus Eee PC 1001PX - 1,66GHz 1GB 250GB 10"
Acer Aspire One Happy - 1,5GHz DC 1GB 250GB 10"
Acer Aspire One D255E - 1,5GHz DC 1GB 250GB 10"
HP Mini 210-2200eo I've read somewhere that this laptop last longest.. is it true?

Overall which one is best by speed and battery? They have almost the same prices if you are going to ask it =)

Samsung NF310-A03 Intel Atom N550 1.5GHz / 1GB / 250GB / LED10.1 / Win 7 Starter it says that it has about 14 hours battery life

Alright WR2 last question, you have been very helpful but just one more question :D

Now its between these two laptops.

Acer Aspire One D255E - 1,5GHz DC 1GB 250GB 10" On the swedish site i'm looking at it says that it last 8 hours

OR

Asus Eee PC 1015PEM - 1,5GHz DC 1GB 250GB 10" Here it says that it last 13 hours

Which one is best between these two? mostly the batteries, but what else?

Your focus on how long a battery will last might be leading you in the wrong direction.
Those 'Netbooks with 1024x600 LCD screen make it harder than necessary to get work done. The small size makes it harder to work on the keyboard if you're a fairly decent typist. The computing power they give comes at a relative high price when compared to more powerful laptops.

I know thats because i take the train to the scool and it will take me about two hours to get to the school and 2 hours back + when i am going use it there... if your going to say don't use it on the train, i want becuase it gets boring to just sit and do nothing for 2 hours =P

Thats why i'm focused on the battery life
