Hello all,

Trying to find a decent laptop for my girlfriend to use in France to play WoW on with me, as well as Skype. Our budget is 4-600.

Screen size doesnt matter. Just want something that will run WoW on some nice settings and look good doing it!

Thanks!

-the cheaper, the better!

Hello jbramble;

A few options for you to look at:
lenovo IdeaPad Z570 15" notebook $550
Core i3 2310M(2.10GHz) CPU, 4GB RAM 500GB HDD 15.6" 1366x768 LCD w/ GeForce GT 520M.
Will run WoW on medium graphics nicely. But the included webcam is only 0.3MP, not ideal of Skype HD.

TOSHIBA Satellite L755D 15" notebook $530
AMD A-Series A4-3300M(1.9GHz) 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD 15.6" 1366x768 LCD w/ Radeon HD 6480G.
WoW on medium graphics but not quite as solid as above, mostly due to the slower APU speed. 1.3mp for Skype HD quality.

check ebay for the m11x. I got one locally for $400 and haven't looked back, it's got some gaming power, decent webcam but mostly it's really portable to take anywhere no problem and great battery life :)
