I have an acer laptop that powers on but monitors starts flickering, dims after 5-10 secs and the laptop goes to sleep. I see there is a white and black wire going into the monitor from what think is the wifi card. Could that be a connection problem?

There is also another block of wires wrapped in black that connect to a dock right above the keyboard, covered by the bezel and they also go in the monitor.

Please, help.

I'm starting to think its a different problem. When its a backlight or FL inverter the laptop normal stays on with just the screen being dark.
