Hello,

here's a bunch of choices:

This laptop features the best processor, but not as good graphics card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The following 3 feature the new llano processor which provides good GPU in the package:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
http://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-dv6-6110us-15-6-Inch-...

and this last one is a 17" laptop, the CPU is about middle ground between the first and other 3. Graphics is better than the first laptop but worse than 3 others.

hope that gives you enough choices. I would recommend getting the llano machine, because for this price range I think it will give you the best performance. The second choice I'd make that 17" for $500 it'll be a good deal, and it's in the middle ground on performance in both CPU and GPU
