since i got my new board i have noticed that sometimes when i reboot, all the usb ports are set to off. but it doesnt always do this, and it is the only setting that is changed. i cant figure out whats going on, any one ever had this kind of problem? im afraid to flash my bios, last time i did that my computer was down for a month.

i went to the tomshardware forums and all i got was this lousy signature.

flash your bios , but before you do that, quad-, and i mean quad,-check that the floppy u put the new bios on is in no way defective. Try copying the files from the disk to different locations of your hard disk and wait till the floppy light goes off, if it copies and the light goes off with no error messages, go ahead !
