Just some something on msnbc about a new japanese processor that's 7 times faster than any US made cpu. Didn't hear a name, all they said was it was 35 trillion math computations per second i think it was. Anyone know about this?
I read about it in the news paper today. Said it was for meteorological and seismology studies and predictions. It supposibly smokes the best big blue can come up with, but the main question is how many FPS can it pump quake3 out at?

Yeah, supposidly the fastest supercomputer in the world. Hey by the way, can anyone tell me how to spell 'supposidly' correctly? I've never known how to spell that word.
Phh, mortals and their mortal computers! Your classic computers are dead- Quantum is the way! It'll smoke a classic comp in factoring, searching, finding means/ medians, etc.
i wonder how this would stack up against it:
