I purchased "PalmEarth" today and tried to load it on my Palm T5, but I
have not been able to install it correctly.
The instructions say that T5 users are supposed to copy the entire
Palm\Programs\PalmEarth folder to main memory.
Where exactly is the "main memory" located. I use the File Transfer
program to copy files from my PC to the T5. Which folder corresponds
to "main memory". Thanks very much for your help.

The Palm uses databases to store its internal data, and therefore
the is no concept of a folder in "main memory" (the proper name
of which is "storage heap" ).
The simplest way to install all these files would be to just double-click
on them on the desktop; then the desktop will arrange to have them sent
to the proper place at next hotsync.
If you already have them on an SD Card or the internal flash drive
or something, then your best bet is going to be using a file manager
like FileZ or something to what FileZ calls "Internal", which just
(yet) another name for the storage heap.
I would note that I have a 1GB expansion card for my T5 also.
>From the desktop when I go to the "Quick Install", and click on the
PalmEarthnewr folder, the application files are placed in the
"Handheld" memory area, and the other files are moved to the Expansion
card. This could be part of the problem.
When I execute the program, it just freezes up.
Interestingly, when I removed the expansion card, and did a re-sync,
the Quick Install program in the desktop still showed the expansion
card to be installed on my T5. And it still tries to put the data
PalmEarth data files in the expansion card area. Very strange.
Anyway, what I really want to know is where do I copy all the PalmEarth
files if I use the "File Transfer" program rather than the Quick
Install.
