If I were interested in replaceing my CPU, how would I go about cleaning the thermal grease off of the old CPU for storage?

I normally use klenex tissue for thermal paste, nice and soft. Then I clean it with regular alcohol (rubbing)also on kleenex to remove oil and grease .

I aint signing nothing!!!
