Hello, my laptop is failing to start up. I am transferred to the repair centre which take ages to
work then eventually says unable to repair you can restart your computer, then it works again.

Do you have a bootable CD/DVD you can test? It might be that you Windows installation is trashed of your HDD has a fault.

If not, you can create one with an OS included. Ubuntu Desktop
If the Linux OS loads and runs OK you know the hardware is fine. And booting Linux could allow you to find and save any personal files and data if you don't have them backed up already.
