I was recently trying to watch a dvd on my computer but when I opened it in Windows Media Player but it said that it couldnt play the disc and said to change screen resolution or colors.
I tried that and it didnt work. Neither did miscrosoft's "helpful" adviser.
I also tried opening the dvd in vlc and a few other programs. it worked with vlc but the sound wouldnt work right.

Anyone know what I need to do?
The computer did play dvds at one time but now it wont.
