Install a driver for your network adapter

Just reinstalled a new hard drive on daughters Acer One Aspire. Reinstalled windows using IOS through a CD. Now I am getting a message saying to install a driver for my network adapter (wireless not working). Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but how do you do this without the internet??

You download the driver to a USB drive on another computer and then move the USB drive to the Acer and install it.

Could you elaborate a bit? (Sorry, I'm a real novice) I've got my ethernet cable in my laptop and I can connect online just fine, but take it out and I'm useless.
