Help!!! My Windows 7 will no longer burn playable CD's from my media library anymore? I am using the best CD-R blank disks available and it appears to be burning a disk... it goes from 1% to 100% and says it made a 'successful copy'. There are even grooves on the CD after I complete my burn... but when I try to play it... NOTHING!!! It just spins and plays SILENCE! HELPPPPPPPPP!!!

I don't have a solution, but have the same problem. Was able to burn a couple of weeks ago, now I can't burn. Running Windows 7, using Windows Media for music. Have successfully burned an audio CD last week using iTunes. I have been through page-after-page on the WEB of possible fixes. BTW, I ran the Windows FIXIT software and it came up as nothing wrong.

One blog said to disable the iTunes burning capability; another site said to uninstall Windows Media and re-install... both seem rather drastic moves to me. IF I were to uninstall Windows Media, what happens to the hundreds of hours of songs I have on file?

I'm so confused... Does anyone have any suggestions?
